As for President Obama, he endured attacks on a daily basis - some good natured, some vicious - but he accepted that it came with the territory. Overnight, we went from a constitutional scholar with an ideal temperament - to an ill tempered sorehead with no knowledge of government or history - and no wish to learn.

I don't know if that's happened to me on DU before, we usually make do with cyber hugs here, LOL...

And I've been waiting - and waiting. Actually, making it through the campaign was torture enough. I couldn't wait for it to be over so we'd never have to see or hear from him again. Day after day, we keep hearing how he doesn't know what he's doing - not to mention the latest scandal.

Thanks for your kind words - and the smooch! We need to stick together and support each other through this "long national nightmare..." And we do have a DU smilie for that...

11. I need to hit the hay soon.

I have to hold onto the belief that justice will prevail.

Then again, I read some scenarios that gave me the chills.

Trying to keep the faith that the experts with their know-how will bring the anticipated result to fruition. One that will elicit a collective and deep sigh of relief from us all.

12. I try to have faith, as well.

It is aggravating and there are times I get depressed - and scared - and I sure know I'm not alone in that. But I try to accept that just me, alone, can't have much of an impact. But then I realize we have some good people out there - and I count my senators among them - who have the experience to know what to do. I just wish they'd move a little faster.

The only part of "the job" he enjoyed was the campaigning - which is actually a prerequisite before the actual work begins. So that's what he continues to do - and expects the actual "job" - the leader of the free world - to take care of itself.
