"SNIP..........
In a radio interview back at his home in Janesville, WI, Speaker of the House, Rep. Paul Ryan, tried to blame Obama for Trumps expected decision to end DACA protection for more than 800,000 immigrants who were brought to the US as children.
During an interview with wclo, Ryan said:
A real leader would have omitted the first paragraph of that answer blaming President Obama and would have told Trump not to end the DACA program. Paul Ryan is not a real leader. The Speaker of the House lacks the courage necessary to stand up to his own president when he is about to take action that will hurt hundreds of thousands of people and permanently damage the Republican Party.

(7,616 posts)he waited and waited ... congress was dragging their feet and not doing anything. President Obama signed thus executive order because something needed to be done.
Its a bit disingenuous for Ryan to suggest that it was done without careful consideration.

(7,808 posts)shitgibbon is trying to undo everything that Obama did. In that way, it's Obama's fault for doing something good - because that forces the White House squatter to talk about reversing it.
Otherwise, not so much Obama's fault. More the fault of Congress - and that means Ryan - for fighting everything tooth and nail.
