(70,674 posts)From the moment he inflicted himself on all of us when he was on the escalator, his lying was the most obvious thing about him, the lips moving.
Whats always useful with him is to find out what his definitions actually are. So it turns out his heart is defined as six months.
But also with him, his execution of his decrees is marked with INEPTITUDE, so the six months will be a YUuuuge tactical error, allowing steam of opposition to build up to the exploding point.
But hes triggering other explosions in the meantime, so no worry.

And I think he's the same with his own kids and wives. Which explains why their lips are permanently glued to his ass and their pathetic need for his absent approval.

(25,183 posts)It does toss the ball back to Congress, to see if some bipartisan deal can be worked out that will get a majority in the House, and a filibuster-proof majority in the Senate. Since the latter majority is the most difficult to attain, I expect that the Senate will be the focus of DACA-style legislation, with the GOP majority in the House acting as a check on a bill that they deem too progressive for their tastes.
For Trump, it's a win-win. Either he gets a bipartisan bill that he can sign, and thus can say that he's been able to bring both sides together, or it flops, and any Republicans in the House who supported a DACA bill can be primaried, as Trump looks to shift blame somewhere else, as he always does. Trump's base will either be pleased that the DACA effort failed, or delighted with whatever concessions that the GOP was able to wring out of the negotiations.
There will be no clean DACA bill, that would effectuate 100% of President Obama's policies on the subject, so holding out hope for that is absolutely futile.
