When people started registering under DACA

Sadly this is coming true.

Ever wonder why gun owners oppose registration of firearms with the gov't? You now know the answer.

3. If guns were to be banned,

a list of who owns what would not be needed. Just make possession illegal. It renders their guns worthless, because they can't take them to the gun range. No need to do a door-to-door. The ones that think they are being clever by hiding their guns would have to spend their life worrying that they are never found. They wouldn't be able to use them to defend their home without going straight to prison for the contraband. With no door to door, they wouldn't have anyone to shoot at in a defiant last stand. Their life could be made miserable by making each gun a 10-year term and each bullet a 1-year term, along with a $100k reward to anyone who rats them out. No registration needed.

Of course none of that will happen, but if they think avoiding registration and avoiding getting on the NRA mailing list would help them, they are wrong. If the USA really wanted to take their guns, the country could make simple possession so miserable only the most rabid ones would risk it.

Registration leads to confiscation. Apparently the same is true for DACA.

This is BS and needs to be stopped.
