Congrats, GOP - You Must Be SO PROUD!!!

Your “pResident” has demonstrated, time and again, that he has absolutely NO idea what he’s doing, NO concept of the responsibilities of his office, and NO clue as to how our government operates domestically nor its role in the global community.

His constant lies – now clocked-in at an average of five whoppers per day – have resulted in polls that show that 74% of Americans don’t trust anything they hear from the Trump White House.

He has filled almost every Cabinet position with people who are inexperienced in the fields they now oversee, and have already proven themselves to be totally incompetent.

His “advisors” are equally inept. His son-in-law, Jared Kushner, has been tasked with everything from solving “the problems in the Middle East” to “government reform” to “criminal justice reform”, despite the fact that he has absolutely NO experience beyond running his daddy’s real estate company, a company that is now billions of dollars in debt.

Your “pResident” has yet to utter a single statement that hasn’t been ridiculed for its stupidity, its ignorance of the facts, and its blatant dishonesty. His every statement is the butt of jokes – not only on late-night TV talk shows, newspapers, and magazines in the US, but around the world.

While claiming he will “make America great again” by bringing off-shored jobs back to American workers, your “pResident” continues to have his own “brand” merchandise manufactured in low-wage countries – including the MAGA-branded merchandise that he sells to those who are out of work because their former jobs at factories that once produced such merchandise have been moved overseas.

Your “pResident” spends his days tweeting utter nonsense, watching TV, and planning his next golf game. His daily briefings are limited to one page of bullet points, because he doesn’t want to have his time wasted being informed of what’s going on in the country he allegedly “leads”, or what events are happening in the world at large.

Aside from being illiterate and woefully ill-educated about history, geography, and world events, your “pResident” doesn’t even possess enough common sense to not lash out at your own party members – particularly those who have supported him and now find themselves under the bus.

Your “pResident” continues to say and do things for the sole purpose of appeasing his “base” , an ever-dwindling group of rabid racists who are just as stupid and ill-informed as he is.

Your law-and-order “pResident” pardoned Joe Arpaio after he was convicted of breaking the law, while declaring that there are “very fine people” among Nazis, white supremacists, and KKK members. And now he is pushing for the deportation of DACA-protected children and young adults whose only “crime” is being law-abiding, productive members of our society.

Your “pResident” is now bringing us close to the edge of nuclear holocaust by provoking Kim Jong-un – a man who is an equally self-serving, self-absorbed, paranoid madman – in a game of chicken that has worldwide consequences.

Your “pResident” has not fulfilled a single campaign promise. His Muslim travel ban failed, his repeal-and-replace Obamacare has failed, and anyone who still believes that border wall is going to be paid for by Mexico is as dumb as the man who promised it would be.

Above all else, your “pResident” is under investigation for colluding with our enemy, Russia – and all your cries of there’s no ‘there’ there are falling on deaf ears as the evidence mounts against him. This is, of course, the same “pResident” who handed over classified information to the Russians he is accused of colluding with, while you continue to defend him. Some of your prominent party members have even gone so far as to commit perjury in order to do so.

The vast majority of your “pResident’s” statements and actions have served one purpose only: to create headlines that he hopes will distract the media from focusing on his treasonous behaviour. It’s as obvious as it is sickening. While your “pResident” decries the “fake news”, he regularly praises actual fake news sites that discuss children being enslaved to work on Mars.

Yes, you must be SO PROUD to have elected this mentally-unhinged idiot to the highest position in our country.

As we move into the mid-term elections next November, I will quote your “pResident’s” eloquent comment when addressing the flood victims in Texas: “Good luck!”

Well, good luck supporting a “pResident” who is a national disgrace. Good luck defending a “pResident” whose approval rating has consistently dropped like an anchor every week he’s been in office. Good luck trying to convince voters – even those who once supported your party no matter what – that the party that is more interested in defending and protecting a god-damned idiot than defending and protecting the Constitution, the rule of law, and common decency should continue to be in control of our nation.

In closing, I can only say the obvious: FUCK YOU, Republicans. FUCK YOU, those who continue to support a lying, pussy-grabbing racist. FUCK YOU, those who have tried to cover up your “pResident’s” stupidity, his incompetence, and his obvious treason.

FUCK YOU ALL.

For the previous 8 YEARS all they had to do was insult President Obama, work very few days, and coast to the election. What we need is a complete shakeup especially as far as elections go. The gop already has their dirty trics teams in place. The dems. had better do SOMETHING about elections and FAST.

Any one of the paragraphs in this excellent rant should be enough to stir the most ardent republican into action to save what's left of their party, but even the entire piece will not.
We live in a country now where tens of millions of people suport this monster whom is actively destroying our country.
Nothing changes other than things continue to get worse. Now we have republicans abetting the #IPOTUS by obstructing their own investigation!
We rant and rave righteously but I wonder if we have lost the country.

Great post Nance! Depressing, but I have been depressed since November.

The pride the GOP deplorables must feel about replacing the "Black" president (intelligent, patriotic, compassionate, honest, moral, etc.) with a "White", whatever he is, who is the most disgusting excuse for a human being ever. Even Hitler pales in comparison. How proud the GOP should be for showing America how "superior" a white man is to the black president who preceded him.

I can only echo your sentiment, Nance. FUCK YOU GOP! Racists Haters Bigots and Idiots. FUCK YOU!

OK, I know this is a rhetorical question but...I wonder if these same folks will say, "oh, I guess there is a there there and he is a traitor. I was wrong about him" if and (hopefully when) Mueller comes down with his indictments. And when Trump is finally charged with crimes.

I imagine it will have already moved on by then to Soros and the shadow government running the secret show

was gleeful as he announced the end of DACA. Lincoln's mistake was fighting a Civil War to keep creeps like Sessions in the Union. Lincoln should have bought the slaves from the South, built a wall to separate Slave States from normal people, and enforced a naval blockade to prevent any further slave importation. The Mexican border would have been safe as Mexico outlawed slavery in 1843, which was the cause of the Mexican American War as Texas land owners wanted free labor to pick cotton.

Anger at these people who are ripping apart everything good this nation stands for a tile at a time. At the radical capitalists like Charles Koch, whose ALEC actually puts his initiatives on state ballots, and whose Cato Institute gives these radical traitors to democracy talking points. We are so close to losing our republic it isn't even funny.

I was going to be facetious and say, "Gee, Nance, you've got to quit being so wishy washy - no one knows how you really feel." That would be a joke, you see.

But this isn't a joke.

My anger grows each day. Depression, despair, confusion as to which of a thousand different attacks on morality, on common decency I ought to fight today, and which I should fight tomorrow. And fucking nazis marching down OUR streets when our fathers and grandfathers shed blood to fight them 70 years ago. That war cost 60 million human lives, and now we have nazi fucks that want that to happen again????

So, Nance, keep ranting. But, everyone also keep resisting. We cannot give up because this is the battle of our lives.

27. Trump's undisputed, crowning achievement
Wed Sep 6, 2017, 11:08 AM
Sep 2017

Donald Trump has accomplished something in just the first eight months of his Presidency that most of us thought would never be accomplished in our lifetimes, nor even in the lifetimes of our children:

Donald Trump has made George W. Bush look good.

Back in 2008 we were all insisting that Junior Bush was THE. WORST. PRESIDENT. EVER. It was a superlative that he deserved and we thought and hoped that his claim to that sobriquet would be unchallenged for many decades to come. Obama's competence and productivity stood in such contrast that we were willing to suggest Obama to be among the better occupants of the Oval Office.

But now, less than a decade after Bush Jr went back to Texas, Donald Trump has wrested his claim for immortality from him. In fact, we are now concerned that Trump will somehow make himself the Last of the Presidents.

then why are 100% of his decisions against everything the government, previous presidents, and the non-Fascist wing of his party has ever done?

You'd get better results just flipping a coin.

So he knows exactly what he's doing. Total cutthroat capitalism, and grabbing everything for the wealthiest people.

We all know most all of this, but sometimes itemizing it really provides dynamic impact. Unfortunately, Repubs don't read this venue. They are hugging their blankies and hoping it all goes away, while watching Fox and Fiends. Thankfully, justice is grinding away, too slow for the impatient, but inexorably, to remove this blight from our country.
