OK now. God is punishing Texas and Florida because they voted for Trump in the election?

We hear evangelists opining about how hurricanes are just punishment from God because "That is a liberal progressive state". Or, "That homosexual lifestyle caused it".
Thought I'd throw the opposite at them. I'm not gonna ask them why God is punishing them. I'm going to tell them that God is punishing Texas and Florida because they voted for Trump in the election. Not because it's true. It's just that I like to fuck with right wing self absorbed religious fascists.

President Trump is an unrepentant whoremonger, and the religious leaders condone it. That puts all of USA at risk of God's wrath.

Evangelists have been unlucky with some recent big storms like floods in Louisiana which destroyed Tony Perkins house. Tony is with Focus on the Family and is on record saying that God punishes people with natural disasters. Then there was a tropical storm heading to Hawaii last year I think that petered out just as it hit the islands so they got some stiff winds but not much else. Seeing as that's Obama's birth state, I'm sure they were chompin' at the bit to lay into that and had weeks of material.

it told me the same thing. And since I'm gay, you can be sure that I have a direct connection to His Noodliness since I was chosen and touched by His Noodly Appendage. Maybe I should start a Telenoodlistical megachurch.

In all seriousness: My thoughts go out to everyone in the path of Irma. That includes republicans, Trump voters, everyone. Of course, I hope they (Republicans, Trump voters) come to their senses because they're putting the USA and the whole world in grave danger.

Big news

The government of Australia, after years of court proceedings, has decided that Pastafarians will be allowed to wear religious headgear in ID photos.

That is rough.

"Due to the threat of Hurricane Irma, the Florida Keys’ three major hospitals are scheduled to fully cease operations including emergency room services. The hospitals are not scheduled to reopen until after the storm passes, staff returns and infrastructure is assessed. The county’s Trauma Star air-ambulance service is to cease operations as well."
