(13,081 posts)"Of course, these numbers are just one way of looking at media bias in the presidential campaign. For instance, while the press has hit Clinton more frequently, Crimson Hexagon also found that it's paid much more attention to her than to Bernie Sanders. And, by design, this kind of analysis may overlook other ways the press can hurt a candidate like Sanders by downplaying or dismissing his or her chances."
Although I'm completely enamored by Joy, she really does have on some serious blinders when it comes to HRC (but only 2016 HRC, because Joy loathed her in 2008). She's also easily baited in arguing with the ten percent of Sanders supporters who are essentially now dead-enders.

(32,640 posts)you are the "crook" that the GOP has unsuccessfully tried to prove you are, then I think that blinders are on the people who think that Bernie was "harmed" by that.
I'm seeing so many more massive blind spots in accusations about politicians "not taking responsibility for their loss," here on DU than I am in Reid.

(32,640 posts)can blame a very, very real and large loss on everything but their own campaign, and think that more press with a negative bias is something that gave their opponent an "advantage" and people not see the irony?
I guess if there were just as many stories on taxes not being released, campaign finance law problems and Old Town Media as there were on "emails," and bogus Clinton Foundation accusations, that would have made them happy.
Like is being demonstrated with the increased coverage of the FBI investigation into bank fraud at Burlington College.
