I think it shows how important perception and symbolism are for many people. How the heck did a former playboy, casino owner, reality TV star, New York real estate mogul become a symbol of God-fearing, patriotic Americanism? There is the phenomenon where people change their perception of people and things based on their own political bias. So a person who ten years ago might have dismissed Trump as just another Hollywood/New York type now sees him as a defender of Truth, Justice and the American Way because he ran as a Republican and spouted right-wing talking points.

My own grandmother is somehow convinced that Trump is a righteous Christian despite the fact that he doesn't seem to go to church at all, has been divorced twice and married three times, was known as a playboy in his younger years and owned casinos. Yet she thought he was more authentically Christian than Obama who clearly did go to church and has a very conservative married life. Again, perception is more important than reality for many people.

the trump painting. Con 1/2 snake 1/2 man took all the money away and the land so infertile now a weed won't even grow with out help and trump has his hand out asking for more.
Yep that's what I see as the difference !

What the hell are they planting, a pot plant maybe?

And to be really representative, that guy planting the plant should have a 'fashy' haircut

He does get Trump's favorite position correct, hand out, waiting for money to be handed to him.

Where are the tiki torches?

Look at Dump's right hand, he's obviously spotted a pussy to grab. (his words, not mine)

I can't fault anyone for working from photographs, the great Norman Rockwell worked that way. However, I can't find anything redeeming about either picture, not color or composition or anything else. However, they do nicely expose McNaughton's id for extensive commentary.

A result of Trump's destruction yielding soil that even inhibits or prevents the growth of plants. The young man is attempting to plant something, the woman is there to water the plant -- hopeful youths, at least that's my take.
