Forget about trump.Forget about Hillary, forget about Bernie.

We have a more pressing problem. Gerrymandered districts nationwide. In Michigan a grassroots movement is going on to put a measure on the ballot to create a nonpartisan committee to draw district lines. Very complex petition, 7 pages long. VNP, voters not politicians.
We are all hoping to get this on the ballot and get it passed in 2018.
However, we American citizens must place our focus on getting Democratic candidates elected to positions at the local/state levels.
In 2020 there will be another census and this will result in redrawing the district lines.
2020 may seem like a long way off to some but, it will be upon us soon. No time to waste in getting this done.

They'll lose it for a second decade if this isn't addressed. Repubs can't win in a fair race. They've been stacking the deck since the 80s, while the dems continue to act like the rules apply.

Here in WA state, we have a three part commission that renders districts. Works fairly well, too.

We are looking for a commission made up of 4 Democrats, 4 Republicans and 5 independents.
No politicians or lobbyists and so on.
