The Europeans and Japanese seem to be doing all they can, and we all know that meaningful fossil fuel use abatement is politically impossible here in the U.S. - the John Birchers saw to that.

Let's just hope it's not too late.

Sometimes real-life creeps in. In 2010 his fiance was diagnosed with breast cancer and there were a number of comics that addressed the subject matter in the following months. Brought tears to my eyes him sharing his fears and pain with every one of his viewers while remaining true to his established style. His "Lanes" comic perfectly sums up the worst part of cancer: The waiting.
