...I'm only about halfway through, but I'm gulping it down like a thriller. It's funny, to the point, refreshingly honest for a politician, and extremely well-written. It is very much the book of someone who has no more fucks to give, and God bless her for it. And of course, it makes me weep, thinking that we could have had the author of this book as President, instead of...well, you know. I've reached the point where I can't even type his name. The so-called election of 2016 is the worst disaster to befall America since the Civil War. But everyone--read the book, by all means. One of the best political books of our time...

(17,615 posts)..you should read all the slanderous reviews on amazon. Ive spent all morning reporting them to amazon and hitting the NOT useful button on all of them. The negative reviews far out numbered the positive reviews but pos slowly catching up. How did so many ppl read a 500 page book the same day it came out? They are even hopping over the Hills Village book and posting negative comments there.. the same day!

(7,949 posts)It's what they live on and for. They have no life and no soul. I will never go to the comments section on anything relating to Clinton, Kennedy or Obama ever again-it's a waste of valuable time and if you are a sensitive person, soul-destroying. Best of luck to Hillary Rodham Clinton and I pray her book tour is successful.

I'm giving it 5 stars because I already know this book is going to be brilliant . I've been a fan of his for a while now and I know all of his work and everything he publishes is awesome. I'm so excited to read the book and I'll make sure to add on to my review. "

(10,500 posts)How popular she was when she finished up as Secretary of State. And the fact that her 12 year career in office was totally free from scandal, and not considered controversial, until after she finished up and then prepared to run for president.
It amazed me that nobody discusses those things. It is like they have been completely erased from the history books.

(4,858 posts)...basically in response to all the lies told about her. She pretty much has to...I might say, she keeps her temper for the most part. I'd have been a lot more pissed, if it was my book...

(10,500 posts)Actually, its omission is also part of the story.
It is amazing that people just forget about it. The GOP gave her the ultimate swift boating.

I hope people get it, read it, return it, and don't let it sit around their house for 2 weeks.
I'd love to be able to take it with me when we go to the beach for a week in late October.

(4,858 posts)...and what strikes me most is her honesty. The idea that she is dishonest might be the biggest Big Lie in US history. And I actually had some real tears in my eyes when I was done, thinking that we might have had her, instead of He Who Will Not Be Named...
