White people scandals only count 1/4 as much as black people scandals.

Oh, now I feel all dirty having said that.

I had dental surgery on election day and fell asleep on the couch watching the returns. I woke up at 3am and saw the orange faced guy standing there with his entire extended family. I keep hoping that was a nightmare and I'm going to wake up. Who would choose an offensive game show host over the most experienced candidate in history??

Or the Berlin wall coming down? (That I NEVER thought would happen in my lifetime!) There's a wonderful woman writer whose name escapes me at the moment (but then again I'm really bad with names!) who talks about the negative voice in one's head as being the station K-FUK, and that if we listen to it, we really are screwed. Don't let the bastards get you down and figure out how to turn off K-FUK, because we really need you.

My Dad was very interested since he had visited a divided Berlin as a young student and when he decided to travel, that was his very first trip, he wanted to see first hand what had changed. He visited Checkpoint Charlie, those were scary times. And I keep my spirits up by keeping up with the truthtellers like Rachel and Lawrence and even the late night comedians. We are the majority, after all.
