Former DNI James Clapper, on CNN, refused to discuss any individual unmasking but did say that former National Security Adviser, Susan Rice, actions were "legitimate and responsible".
Considering the fact that the House Intel Chairman, Conaway of Texas, and Trey Gowdy, right-wing hatchet man, both agreed that Susan Rice acted appropriately when she unmasked the Trump team at Trump Tower, it will be interesting to see how the right-wing media reacts to this story?
But, the question is: Why did they not go after Rice??
Did they see something that we are not aware of? The Seychelles part of the story seemed to come from the Intel Committee itself?
There are things going on that we don't know.

(82,849 posts)At least, that's my totally uninformed opinion. I'm a bit surprised that even Republicans are agreed that Rice didn't do anything wrong (in fact, did something her job required her to do), seeing how they've flogged so many dead horses over the years. I don't know if they suddenly got an attack of the reasonables, blew themselves out on other phony nontroversies, or if there really is something going on that we don't know about yet.
