The hashtag "AmnestyDon" was a top trending topic on Twitter in Washington, D.C., Wednesday following reports of President Trump's agreement to work with Democratic leaders to give amnesty to nearly 800,000 immigrants who came to the country illegally as children.
"Amnesty Don" is the headline of a Breitbart News story slamming the president for working with Democrats on the deal.
"In a meeting with establishment politicians from the Problem Solvers Caucus and the Blue Dog Coalition, President Trump signaled a full-fledged cave on the issue of giving amnesty to nearly 800,000 illegal aliens currently protected by an Obama-created executive immigration program," said the top paragraph of the Breitbart report Wednesday night.
Former White House chief strategist Steve Bannon left the White House in August to return as Executive Chairman of Breitbart News, which staunchly backed Trump during the 2016 campaign.

(146,286 posts)There have been multiple posts lately that are saying that Pelosi and Feinstein should be primaried. Clearly, they are not from people who live in California. It's not their decision. I often ask such people who their Senators and representatives are. Generally, there is no response.

(1,473 posts)Especially hardworking women Democrats. Some people seem to have a problem with that type of politician.

(146,286 posts)That seems obvious to me. We should stop listening to those people and get on with our goal to regain control of federal government. Everything else is a freaking waste of time.
