Graham-Cassidy would represent a massive devolution of federal money and responsibility to states with few strings attached.

Graham-Cassidy keeps most, but not all, of the ACA's money, but lets states figure out how to regulate insurance and subsidize health care.

Graham-Cassidy would redistribute over $1 trillion in federal health care funding among states, creating big winners and losers.

It keeps more funding than the BCRA, but gives states much more leeway in how to use it.

A perplexing aspect of Graham-Cassidy is that the block grants to states end after 2026, so it's not really a long-term solution.

(51,583 posts)Now it is on TV and everyone is surprised. I tried to let people know that time is rapidly running out (2 weeks). I have been trying to explain want I learned on Tues night during a conference call with CA Congresswoman Barbara Lee. I got all of my notes out from July to see what the Graham Cassidy Bill was about. The traitor McCain is all for it as are Collins and Heller. I do not know if they bought Murkowski's vote yet or not but they have been actively buying votes and most likely it will pass.
This is why Pelosi wasn't "Gung ho" on the Single Payer uproar this week. She wanted to focus on saving the ACA. I have been calling the senators AGAIN...over 400 calls since Jan. I am sick (really) and tired of this shit!
Please call Congress (202)224-3121 THANKS!
