Question for DUers on Twitter

Not on twitter and have no interest in joining but have the following question for those that are:

Do Trump's twitter attacks on Secretary Clinton, who is a private person not running for office, constitute an advocacy of violence against her and/or using twitter to stalk a person that is a violation of the terms of service?

I know it is a stretch but nothing would wound the psychic of this monster more than having to defend his tweets and explaining it is all a funny joke, and so on.

It seems to me that the most valuable offensive that DU could initiate is a campaign to have Trump removed from twitter for a TOS violation. Of course twitter will never do it because he has increased their traffic substantially but if Trump has to take to Twitter to defend himself it would catch his attention more than another missile from North Korea.

We need to keep on the offensive with this POS.

I doubt Twitter would do anything anyway.

You can report a user and flag 5 posts of theirs and then Twitter reviews. But he is their bread and butter.

My point is not that twitter would remove him but that there would be a significant enough push that he would have to defend his tweets.

" Of course twitter will never do it because he has increased their traffic substantially "

The issue is why not organize a significant enough response that he would have to defend himself.

I am assuming it has to be a "direct threat."

Ted Nugent had a "cartoon" on his Facebook page a while back of Hillary being shot. It was reported. Nothing happened.

I have a client who fired an employee, and they wrote a review so graphic and vulgar that I couldn't even paraphrase it here. I contacted Facebook at least six times, clearly pointed out that it was a violation of their TOS, and didn't get a single reply. Ended up turning off reviews on their page, and that's what finally made it go away.

Whether it's Twitter or Facebook, they just don't give a rat's ass.

The former undercover CIA agent Valerie Plame Wilson is looking to crowdfund enough money to buy Twitter, so Donald Trump can’t use it.

Wilson launched the fundraiser last week, tweeting: “If @Twitter executives won’t shut down Trump’s violence and hate, then it’s up to us. #BuyTwitter #BanTrump.”

The GoFundMe page for the fundraiser says Trump’s tweets “damage the country and put people in harm’s way”.

As of Wednesday morning, she had raised less than $6,000 of her $1bn goal. By Thursday morning, the total had risen to more than $40,000.
