But the guy won't turn evidence. If he did, he would be out of power and unable to peddle influence. If he doesn't, he gets convicted, and trump pardons him. Then manafort can use this as evidence of his "special relationship" to maintain his crooked life.

He knows trump will pardon him because trump needs to send a message to all who could turn on him that he will get them off. It is trump's only chance. There will be dozens of pardons before this is over.

That if he doesn't flip by a certain date that NY will indict instantly along with Mueller, this tells him a pardon won't keep him out of jail, we read this today that he's been warned, we read that Mueller is working with the NYAG a week or so back.
