California Gov. Jerry Brown on Monday called President Donald Trumps approach to climate change and North Korea stupid and dangerous and silly, sharpening his criticism of the president and comparing his supporters to cave dwellers.
Theyre both kind of very similar, Brown said at a climate change event in New York. You should check out the derivation of Trump-ite and troglodyte, because they both refer to people who dwell in deep, dark caves.
Brown, the Democratic governor of the nations most populous state, has been rushing to recruit other state and local governments to sign onto their own nonbinding climate agreements in defiance of Trump. At an event coinciding with the United Nations meeting in New York, Brown said Trumps election has made it easier to promote climate-related policies, with the rise of a real adversary that is not believable, is not credible.
President Trump is the null hypothesis, which hes proven, Brown said. Everything hes doing is stupid and dangerous and silly. I mean, come on, really, calling the North Korean dictator Rocket Man'? He is accelerating the reversal through his own absurdity.

'we should' crowd will be along any second now to tell this man who actually knows how to WIN AND GOVERN that he's hurting the widdle feelings of this second cousin twice removed who is a really good person who just happened to vote for Trump.

(35,041 posts)Cave dwellers drilled holes into their skulls because it was the best medicine they had at the time.
A Trump voter would drill a hole into their skull just because a liberal said it wouldn't be a good idea.

(841 posts)He is like "screw it, I am throwing down the gauntlet!" I can't say I blame him. If he was younger and maybe thinking about running for president in 2020 I would say that this was bad optics but at this stage of his career I say speak your mind Gov. Brown!

(15,682 posts)I can't remember but he has to be a good 10 years younger than Sanders. He is a proven leader who knows how to govern. I'd like to see him run. We know Sanders will. Why not Brown?
