invading, attacking Iran in the pattern of North Korea, except the U.S. would take its oil. (Trump has repeatedly rued that the US military didn't take Iraq's oil when our country invaded theirs.)

But they are just as easy to demonize.

Eliminating the agreement would simply put us on pre-agreement terms. Harsh sanctions that hurt the people more than the government. Many of their younger people are more tolerant of western ways and even embrace much of it. We hurt that trend by removing carrots and grabbing a bigger stick. It makes it easier for their leaders to demonize us.
