Senator Dianne Feinstein's statement on Trump's UN speech.

Washington—Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) today released the following statement on President Trump’s remarks before the U.N. General Assembly:

“The goals of the United Nations are to foster peace and promote global cooperation.

“Today, the president used it as a stage to threaten war.

“He missed an opportunity to present any positive actions the U.N. could take with respect to North Korea, and he launched a diatribe against Iran, again offering no pathway forward.

“By suggesting he would revisit and possibly cancel the Iran nuclear agreement, he greatly escalated the danger we face from both Iran and North Korea. What nation would negotiate with the United States when the agreements we reach with other countries are so easily undermined?

“Trump’s bombastic threat to destroy North Korea and his refusal to present any positive pathways forward on the many global challenges we face are severe disappointments. He aims to unify the world through tactics of intimidation, but in reality he only further isolates the United States.”

Congress will wise up and put this knee-jerk warmonger on a very short leash. Enough throwing of red meat, already! Just give him some toy guns, ships and airplanes to play with. Would be good for him and Barron so he can let off steam.

I'm afraid Mueller's probe or impeachment is going to take far too long.

Her 24 years is enough. She voted for the Iraq war and the Patriot Act. Also for Medicare means testing which changes the meaning of Medicare from an earned benefit to a welfare program, which it is not. That's a very harmful shift.

She does not support Medicare for All and calls it a "Government take over" of health care which is a real misnomer if ever there was one.

Get to the point of changing horses in mid stream. The simple fact Trump is a monster and he will never change. Wishing and other magical thinking will not effect change. I have been stockpiling, canning food and supplies since April on our farm.
