That gives him cover. He can pretend someone else leaked it so it can be called illegal and maybe have a chance for it to be invalidated. Manafort is not as smart as he looks. Sorry he doesn't look smart. He looks like a Mafia Don.

Of course it is a ruse because a leak does not invalidate a F.I.S.A. warrant. Nor is it illegal.
Manafort is claiming it is.
