Melania Trump set to meet Prince Harry at Invictus Games

Melania Trump is set to meet the UK's Prince Harry of Wales on Saturday, as the respective first lady and British Royal partake in the opening ceremony for the Invictus Games.
The Invictus Games are to be held in Toronto, Canada this year ...

President Trump's wife will lead a U.S. delegation to the games ... an event that gathers over 500 wounded servicemen and women from around the world.

"I was heartened by the great success of the inaugural Invictus Games that took place in London in 2015, and the second games in Orlando, Florida last year,"
Melania Trump said in the initial press release announcing her being featured in the U.S. delegation.

With Melania Trump's popularity on the rise, the trip showcases the first lady's increasing role as a public speaker and outward-facing Oval Office ambassador.

Some Canadians have been speaking out against Melania Trump's participating in the Invictus Games ceremony, blasting the "hypocrisy" they say her appearance represents.

"Melania Trump coming to Canada as an emissary of the Invictus Games is exactly the kind of hypocrisy we don't need in Canada—or anywhere—at any time," Brad Fraser wrote.

“Melania, like Ivanka, Donald Jr., and the rest of the privileged and sinister clan have made it clear that they see themselves as little more than extensions of their narcissistic, wealth-inheriting, never-accomplished-anything-on-his-own husband and father, in attitude and public stance.

They’ve all proven to be little more than whimpering sycophants before a patriarch who has proven to be, at best, a rather stupid, manipulative madman with no impulse control.”

...this meeting. The Trumps like to think of themselves as Royals - born genetically superior to us "common" people. I guess the Special Olympics will be next... shudder.

She's been very vocal about it...

This is why it always makes me laugh when people say they don't see color...

and did not know her name and could not google, I would probably make the racist assumption she was white. Just dark skinned.

Let's not bring these things to a point of absurdity. Her mother must be very light skinned and her father must be white.

Is it racist for me to assume someone is black until they tell me they identify as black?

I have pale skin but you can't assume I am white, OK? Ask me how I identify first.
