Most people that are in Trump's base don't watch CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, etc. And they don't read the NYT, Wapo, etc. The only "news" sources they pay attention to are Fox and Breitbart.

So if Fox and Breitbart don't report on something, these viewers have no idea it's going on. It's highly likely most of them have no idea this investigation is as serious as it is.
