Tom Brady: Potard In Chief 's attacks on NFL players 'just divisive'

President Donald Trump’s critical remarks over the weekend about NFL players who kneel during the national anthem were “just divisive,” New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady said in a radio interview Monday morning.

“Yeah, I certainly disagree with what he said. I thought it was just divisive," Brady said Monday morning on WEEI, a Boston sports talk radio station. “I just want to support my teammates. I am never one to say, ‘oh, that is wrong. That is right.’ I do believe in what I believe in. I believe in bringing people together and respect and love and trust. Those are the values that my parents instilled in me.”

In a climate of reason someone like Trump cannot gain support. He is dependent on the kind of polarization he promulgates, an atmosphere of us versus them that creates support for "our" leader no matter what kind of stinking ripe asshole he may be because "our" side is right no matter who the leader is and the "others" need to be opposed unthinkingly.

We need to resist Trump AND the tendency to fall into his trap. He's wrapping himself in the flag and playing the racist card at the same time, very clever propaganda and difficult to counter. The best thing to do in my opinion is to take control of the narrative by shifting to a different issue, #TrumpRussia. Trump can't wrap himself in the American flag while he's wrapped in the Russian flag.

And this is why Trump needs a new distraction issue:

Same with Kraft, a good press release, but time will tell.

As a rabid Pats fan, it has been hard to deal with the big 3...Brady AND Belichick AND Kraft...being Trump fanboys.
