My country
Reaffirms my complete lack of faith in it almost daily.
There is more public outrage and discourse about trump’s NFL comments than about our country’s disregard and disrespect of PR and USVI and the rest of our Caribbean friends and allies, in their desperate time of need.
As a nation, we care more about hurting the feelings of spoiled and pampered millionaires than normal people suffering in horrendous conditions.
Most people didn’t care about things like a free press or speech or to peacefully protest leading up to the general election or in the first several months of this train wreak of an administration but infringe on the rights of a bunch spoiled millionaires and the whole country comes apart at the seams.
