GOP Will Revive ACA Repeal Again & Again & Again & Again & Again & Again Ad Infinitum

ACA Repeal will NEVER be dead as long as there is one GOP legislator is alive. You can plan that they will continue forever. They have already said this effort is not over.

1. Until the Democrats have either the House, Senate or White House

we can expect this to continue, year after year.

I think at this point, they're not really trying to kill it, because they know they don't have the votes. They're just trying to keep their base angry.

I was already ill and this BS from the last 8 months does NOT help. Stress/anxiety contribute to poor health. I believe this is their far reaching plan of genocide of the poor, women, older, etc.

Well see week after week of repeal proposals just like before because they know they can't pass but it makes them look good to the imbecile potion of their constituents.

9. The get more done as the minority than Dems do as the majority

Granted, what they get done is "prevent anything from getting done," but they get a lot of mileage out of it, and they hold onto state houses long enough to re-gerrymander another 10-year lock on the federal House.

12. We seem to be holding just as strong as the minority opposition.

I say this with the belief that they were brilliant as the party of no and our past history in that area hasn't been so good. Under this new congress we have been every bit as brilliant as they were. We were able to pass the ACA as the majority. They can't even repeal it as the majority. Same goes for a lot of things Republicans have introduced and then shelved.

And, to be fair to the Dems, they're doing it when it really counts.

Would have been nice to see some of this resolve under W or even under Obama, but if they can keep Trump from destroying the world, I guess I shouldn't complain about it.

When talked about as a historical perspective. Our past isn't very pretty as a minority party. I don't fully trust they won't all of the sudden start working with republicans because of that historical trend we have all witnessed. Each time I hear a democrat say bipartisanship I cringe.

Generally, when Republicans say "bipartisanship," it means "Democrats do what we want.'

And when Democrats say "bipartisanship," it means "we do what Republicans want."

In the middle of the midterm elections. If they succeed they will likely get thwomped twice as hard as they already will.

6. Yes. Meanwhile, back at the ranch... Judge Moore's election in Alabama
Wed Sep 27, 2017, 02:51 AM

has pundits predicting another clueless anti-GOP-establishment revolt for 2018. Like the attempted (Kochs') Tea Party revolt and the Trump revolt, across the nation pub voters will try to "primary" some of the dark money-supported people they voted for last time. One guess who's going to be choosing and funding potential replacements.

The problem, of course, is that anti-government seditionists like the Koch alliance have trained pubs to think we're the devil, so they look everywhere but to joining us to put those people back in their cage. Since candidates who speak respectable establishment talk won't do, and we won't do, they are bottom-fishing for the Moores and Trumps. A person of such bad character as Moore will of course sell them out like the rest and, in fact, already embodies the anti-government/anti-tax/religious right fusion of the Kochs' Pence.

Politifact: "Did Alabama Senate candidate Roy Moore take $1 million from a charity he ran?" ... As the breakdown below shows, the Moore family did in fact receive $1,030,875 from The Foundation for Moral Law over this period, according to IRS filings.

Multiply that by 49 and they still wouldn't have the ability in the senate.
