they need to have a tree fall onto their house and kill a family member. Get 4 feet of sewer and sea water in their home. No gas available, no roads to drive on anyhow. No ambulance or mortuary able to pick up the dead family member. No power- dead family member sitting in a hot room for a while. Then be told to dig themselves out of the mess they got themselves into.

3. Let's extend this experiment well beyond the circuit breaker.

Let's say they have a child being kept alive by machines....machines requiring electricity. Let's say the hospital has to close because it can no longer run the generator.

Maybe their grandfather, like the 90-something man yesterday, would have to stand in line, in the heat, for 6 1/2 hours , waiting to fill his gas can.

Maybe their mother would have to lay in a bed in a house without a roof, sick and desperate for someone to find some ice so she can keep her insulin cold. What insulin she has, that is...enough for one more day.

Maybe they have an uncle with one leg and no walker because it got blown away and now sits in a pile of twisted metal several blocks from home.

I've run out of bottom-of-the-barrel adjectives for Trump.
