1. Revenge/control/overpowering/inflicting suffering seems to be part of make-up of these people.

Same with Isis, most killers, rapists & Hitler. They all couldv'e just killed their shitty selves, but they wanted to inflict pain.

Heck, it is even big part of the reason why Donald decided to run for Prez. He is made of the same cloth.

3. Why is it always men? No this isn't a gender slam but an honest "ponder"...

As inexplicable as the act is in general, why is it only men that do this? There are surely women who murder, even the rare serial murderer. Women can surely fight and kill in war, but these mass killings on their own people? In this country and the West always men. Granted ISIS and similar have convinced women to become suicide bombers, but that seems to be a very distinctly different issue.


I guess the bigger general question of "why" supersedes the question about gender, but I'm still pondering... what is it about our society that makes men, but not women, do this?
