"We'll be talking about gun laws as time goes by" - Trump

President Donald Trump on Tuesday hinted that he’ll be wading into the debate over new gun control measures, but said such conversations will likely happen later.

On his way to Puerto Rico, Trump praised the police response to the shooting that killed at least 59 people and injured more than 500 — the deadliest mass shooting in modern history. And he said conversations about gun control are forthcoming.

I've been saying since the election - Trump would do gun control...

He likes being a disruptor.

He's an uptown, metro-sexual guy - not a gun dude.

It's Trump - he probably thinks the NRA owes HIM!!!

Plus, Trump also knows how much power the NRA wields at election time. Since when does Trump use common sense or personal beliefs to swing policy?

It's meaningless, but you may be exactly right about him releasing chaff at intervals to try to cover his obvious incompetence.
