My pride in this country is at an all time low in my life of 68 Years. Congress that is bought buy the rich and the NRA. 24 hour news that leans corporate in every story, no curious follow up questions, allowing unchallenged rants, it's a joke and embarrassing to listen to. Veterans having pain medicine taken away because they smoke pot occasionally by hillbilly sessions and trumps policy designed to ruin the Veterans Administration. Taking away child care. More tax cuts for those who least need them. So called Christian religion churches that don't even mention Jesus during there entire service, not even a crucifix on display in these non denominational church's. A heartless president who hates most of the population in our country. Not to mention our corporations exporting all of their pollution to China to avoid environmental laws the people wanted. My flag is down, I am down and nothing seems to bring either of us back up. The greatest country in the world I fought for and defended is gone. I am numb and stunned by our government and people in today's world. Just my opinion.

My brother just called me this morning with the exact sentiment. Take down the flag. Neighbors and friends are HUMANS, not Republicans or Democrats. TV News is all about corporations selling you their junk. It is a weird, weird feeling, isn't it? Our President is a complete buffoon, who is recognized as such by the rest of the world. People in my community are all different races, we stand in line for lunch everyday and smile, are polite, and seem to go the extra mile lately to spread the brotherhood.
