and hit him in the legs? The hole in the door are all low.

if he was laying prone on the floor perhaps shooting through the door at the security guard was all that was possible.

to his overall goal of killing someone. You would think that if he took so many precautions, paid attention to details and planned out all the legestics for at least several days that he would've carried that part of his plan out a little better. After all if he had the peace of mind to eat a nice meal before it all began so he was thinking calmly and rationally (if you call it that).
