Just had typical exchange with Florida Republican Congressman Rooney concerning Trump's recent behavior.

She asked all the right questions, however he did nothing but defend Trump and his insanity.

Question to Rooney concerning Trump's reach out to Schumer? Response? "Obamacare falling Apart Crap"
She lets him go on for 2 minutes and immediately proceeds to next question...No push back at all.

Next question. Iran? Congressman Rooney's reply..Obama is the problem.

So sick of this kind of shit.. Ask a question to a Republican and let them spew bullshit..as a response.

6. Her gushing, Valley Girl speech affectation makes my teeth ache.

She sounds like a California teenage girl breathlessly talking in upspeak, a phony speech pattern where her pitch increases steadily toward the end of the sentence, rising up so the last syllable at the end gets a higher inflection and almost -- but not quite -- sounds like a question.

Besides that, Alex Witt isn't a real journalist or a proud member of the vaunted free and adversarial press corps. She is incapable of doing a strong interview because she's more of a passive news reader than a savvy journalist. Like many others in her business, she assumes a weak, submissive and ingratiating posture when faced by powerful people. She wants their approval and easy access, so she just stepped back, gave up control of her own show, and let Rooney walk all over her.
