I once had a roomate with a bad drinking problem. She was on again off again with her husband who was a tough and scary guy in my opinion. Anyway , one night she went out and got loaded and came back to the house with a man she picked up in a bar. I told her to get rid of that man fast because her husband called and he was driving up and would be there any minute. I could not get her to listen to me or care. A few minutes later when she and the guy she picked up were in the bedroom her husband was at the front door. He brushed right past me toward the bedroom. I immediately got on the phone to call the police. Then I hear all the fighting coming from her bedroom. I run back to see what is going on and her husband had her by the throat and the naked guy was pleading with me to grab his pants for him as he ran out of the room leaving her to her fate. I was completely freaked out and panicked because I was not accustomed to these kinds of goings on. I tried to get the guy his pants so he could get the heck out of there, but her husband was standing on them. All I could grab was his boots while I yelled " You need to calm down I have called the police already!" So I run out to naked guy who was trying to get his car started and I throw him his boots. Then he says " I'm naked and you throw me boots?!!" It might seem odd that this story reminds me of Cheeto throwing paper towels, but it does. I think it's because the people in Puerto Rico and in such a desperate situation and there is Cheeto just throwing them some paper towels as if that was going to help their dire situation. The naked man having boots thrown to him by a panicked woman might be kind of funny, but the Puerto Ricans being in such desperation and having paper towels thrown to them is not funny at all...it's just plain sad.
