Unless people like this are willing to use their fame to push for tougher weapon legislation then their sympathies and gestures ring hollow in my opinion.

(146,255 posts)and others who are not involved, really, in policy making. I don't know Jason Aldean at all, and I don't follow that part of the music industry. But, his response is to sing a song. That's what he does. I'm not sure he has any other abilities in the areas of concern.

Musicians make music. A few musicians are also interested in other things. I don't know Jason Aldean, so I can't say which sort he is.
