Would you ever think of changing your registration to vote against Trump in a primary?

Just to help retire his deplorable butt?

And then switch back before the general election?

Can you think of anything that would scare him more right now? Even more than Bob Mueller?

Yes. However Oregon has a closed primary, so it is unlikely that it would be worth it. CentralMass Oct 2017 #15

I hate the motherfucker with the heat of a thousand O-type main sequence stars, and I want everyone to know that. I wouldn't give anyone the satisfaction of thinking that I might prefer that rat bastard to anyone, even Satan himself.

I am not a registered anything, for that matter.

Edit: I live in Michigan, no registration. And the hell if I would mark my ballot for any republican, much less Trump.

let him be impeached or resigned before 2019. Yes, I would interfere in a repug primary, but only if it would affect the outcome and the Democratic candidate would benefit.

Then we have to look at the break the glass only in an emergency option. Every Democrat should register at a republican and vote for whichever republican will get us back into the Paris accords.(in the primary) However when you play a game like this you have to understand that if they win a primary there is a very real chance they win the White House too.

Like I want a lot of things, I want birth control and rights for women and minorities like myself. But these republicans have the world in their hands, another generation can win all the other fights if they have too. We have to win the climate fight to even give them a chance.

while staffing a voter registration tent Memorial Day weekend 2004. Two separate times women stopped by to fill out the cards to switch back to GOP. Both were very upfront about having changed to Democratic registration ONLY to vote in the February primary. I just gritted my teeth at their lack of honor in what I thought of as cheating, and turned the paperwork in properly. Given their win-at-any-cost outlook, I always wonder how often in that situation GOP'ers simply trash any forms except for those of their own party.

And, if it didn't, I wouldn't do so, anyway. I don't vote for republicans, even strategically. Let Frankenstein deal with their monster themselves.

However when I lived in WV I was always a registered democrat, and there's zero chance I'd register GOP for any reason. I'll get my chance to vote against their ilk.

In the primary, we are asked if we want a Dem or GOP ballot. If there is a subsequent run-off election, we have to stay with the party of which ever ballot we voted previously. There are too many other races to switch my ballot for just 1 candidate.
