Don't. Let. Them. Frame. The. Narrative.

That's exactly what Mike Pence's little staged publicity stunt was meant to do. They are trolling us big time and they're trying to frame the narrative as being disrespectful to the national anthem. Today's stunt was just to say "fuck you" to anyone who knows the truth about what Colin Kaepernick originally did it for. It's to protest police violence. It has nothing to do with disrespecting the country or our armed forces. Trump and his goons are trying to change the dialogue and make it about them. We cannot let them get away with this!!!

This member of the forum has begun to contact as directly, simply, & "to the point" as possible to POTUS & others who support the POTUS & Pence & racists or bigots who call their selves either Conservatives or "we the people," with this purpose in mind: to express solid support for Colin Kaepernick & all athletes or others at games who wish to express in appropriate or legal ways that they/we oppose any racism or bigotry especially that which is sanctioned by the state/government, e.g. cops killing anyone not guilty of crime or tried & sentenced in a US court of law. Simply put, this writer supports Colin Kaepernick & all who take knees or otherwise do not stand at the National Anthem, etc. I understand we ALL THE PEOPLES, NOT JUST THE SO-CALLED WHITES OR THOSE DESCENDED FROM EUROPEANS, have our rights to free expression, protected by the First Amendment of the Constitution of the US of A.

The 49'ers are the most outspoken organization on this - even if they were sorta shamed into it by Kaep's protest and subsequent charitable commitment he continues to make. Last wwen when the protest slowed SF had like half the league total of kneeling players.

There was no doubt. What I want to know is if Pence was in Indy for any reason or if the taxpayers just had to pick up the bill for his staged hissy fit.
