(338 posts)They are not serious legislators or administrators, they are mostly gamesters, not at all serious. "They seen their opportunities and they took 'em," pulling stunt upon stunt to get what they want, not thinking it through or working seriously with the loyal opposition on well-considered public policies. It's a party that's largely worked this way for a quarter century now. Trump was their inevitable leader, thanks to that entire pack of tricksters and cheaters who paved the road for his arrival. Rules are increasingly meaningless given those yahoos. No doubt they cheat at cards, too.

(14,489 posts)I've said for years that Republicans may as well run a bunch of robots of various colors and shapes for public office. Just vote for your favorite model. They all vote by the playbook of the plutocrats anyway, so why not save the public a bunch of money?
The right-wing think tanks would just keep them properly programmed and updated via USB cable.
Plus, all it would cost us would be to keep the batteries charged!

After his stunt in Puerto Rico, what can't they get away with?
