and fixing the ACA with Schumer is off the tables too?! I doubt Schumer believes him...he knows a NY con man when he sees one.

they let him think they did. Their main target is the House and Senate Republicans.

Schumer is a New Yorker and well-acquainted with Trump's tactics.

Trump has zero reputation for for being a "man of his word."

Republicans. They might not actually walk off with any deal, but they've pitted Trump against his own party. Now that everyone knows his promises are worthless and his deals are not the be trusted, Trump will find it even more difficult to get anything from Republicans.
