as we were waiting in line to pay for groceries. I say something like I wonder if my fav team shows up to play today, 'meaning if they came to play' and he goes on a rant about how he lost respect for the players for taking a knee and I lost it. Told him loud enough for all to hear me, that this has nothing to do with patriotism or the flag but everything to do with police killing black people with impunity. He tried to tell me that all those are investigated and I had to shut him down on that with a loud BULLSHIT. I noticed a lot of people were listening to our exchange and I seen many more smiles directed at me than frowns
