House Intel Dem accuses committee chairman Devin Nunes of trying to undermine Russia investigation

Again.

After publicly recusing himself from all matters related to the Russia investigation, Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA), the chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, announced Tuesday that he had personally subpoenaed the group that published the infamous “golden showers” dossier.

That news broke on CNN as host Wolf Blitzer was interviewing Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA), another member of the California delegation that also sits on the House Intelligence Committee. According to him, it appears that Nunes is attempting to circumvent Democrats and potentially work on behalf of the White House.

I think he had Boehner, former Republican Speaker of the House, Boehner, bamboozled. I think Boehner became godfather to one of his children.

He netted a big committee assignment, started fights with the military especially over his demand for the military to move sensitive surveillance operations out of Britain and to The Azores (ancestral homeland)--where no allies want it to go. This quest might benefit Putin but not us or western allies.

He and Putin do seem aligned in their contempt for Hillary Clinton.

He has some Russian ties through his vineyard operations. He is young and is not rich.

He was an early Trump supporter and on the infamous Transition team.
