He got famous for (literally, illegally) installing a five thousand pound graven image of a rule reading “Don’t make graven images.”

And then, instead of following his Earthly leaders or rendering unto Caesar, he pitched a fit like a toddler angry that Santa only comes on Christmas, not his birthday.
