(30,058 posts)many days without water and longer without food. Everyone of these people is blood on Trump's hands, it needs to be investigated by congress. He could have gotten help there before eleven days and then he only stopped the Jones act for 10 days. Trump is less than a loser.

This is not a reality based show it's more like he does not live in reality. Delusional is more like it. We all need this nightmare to go away...........sigh.

(4,690 posts)In the wake of Hurricanes Irma and Maria, thousands of people are left without access to clean water. Our teams are massing an emergency response to get clean water filters to people in Puerto Rico.
The Waterbearers are teaming up with friends and supporters who have personal connections on the ground. Together with colleagues from the region we have launched an emergency response to provide access to clean drinking water to areas most affected. We've already seen some miracles from connecting water systems donated by us to people in dire need!
The first few weeks are crucial in stemming the spread of waterborne diseases and life-threatening dehydration. Portable water filtration systems will be placed in communities (both in shelters and residences) to mitigate the immediate suffering of the most impacted families.
PLEASE ACT NOW
Your involvement is critical to our success in helping this relief effort. Thank you again for your help and compassion.
