Trump's threats towards Puerto Rico are nothing short of Stalinesqe.
In the early 1930s, after collectivization efforts failed in Ukraine, Stalin chose to purposefully withhold food from affected Ukrainians. His intention was to collectively punish the Ukrainian peasantry class, who he viewed as disloyal and ungrateful. As a result, several million people starved to death.
I see that same mindset and complete indifference to human life right now with Trump and Puerto Rico. He views Puerto Ricans as a drain on the US economy and obstinate to his authority, and he'll gladly see them collectively punished in their time of need in order to teach them a lesson.
It's truly bone chilling how similar the mindsets are.
Trump is a horror.
