M. CHERIF BASSIOUNI MEMORIAL CELEBRATION PLANNED
A celebration of the life of DePaul Emeritus Professor of Law M. Cherif Bassiouni is planned for Oct. 29 from 4-7:30 p.m. at the Chicago Symphony Center, Buntrock Hall, 220 S. Michigan Ave.
Bassiouni, a human rights advocate and renowned legal scholar, died Sept. 25 in Chicago at the age of 79.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations may be directed to the Chicago Symphony Orchestra or the American Civil Liberties Union of Illinois.
