with Panetta, both of them heartily agreeing that neither impeachment nor the 25th Amendment is appropriate for Trump. Panetta's 'sage' suggestion is to 'let checks and balances work' and, if they don't, then 'the voters take care of it - that's how our Democracy works'.

Fascinating. How do "checks and balances" work with, let's say Executive Orders? With the so-called President single-handedly cratering the deal with Iran which guarantees that Iran will become a nuclear=armed state in short order? And what 'checks and balances' exist when Donny Dumbnuts awakes with a raging hard on and decides it's time to nuke N. Korea?

Theoretical navel-gazing is fascinating in a college dorm room late at night but not of so much use when the fate of our country and the world is literally in play.

The courts are the place to check those, I suppose.

The sad truth of the matter is that Panetta's pretty much correct; Trump's Impeachable offenses (which I believe exist) occurred prior to his Inauguration.

EO's that crater the ACA, or the Iran Deal, or the Paris Climate Accord are within his power. They're fucking moronic, but this is what his is what his 3-million voter minority voted for. Stigginit.

Absent Mueller showing evidence of Collusion with the Russian hacks of the DNC, 2020 is the solution.

Tweety and Panetta have a tax cut at stake. True, they can't spend what they have now, but they need more, and that's a lot more important than your piddly-ass concerns about life and death.
