It'll be covered by local government, much like it has been in the past, i.e. passed onto the taxpayers.

a OP hear about how her sister on Medicare couldn't afford lifesaving Chemo...she did not have a wrap around plan and the 20% amounted to thousands per month. She didn't get it and died. Hospitals will stabilize you and that is it. My cousin died weeks before Obamacare was implemented in a boating accident...28 years old. He was denied lifesaving surgery. If you can't pay, often you don't get treatment.

There is a 20% gap which is now filled with insurance...their will be premiums and insurance involved so no medicare for all would not have saved her.

There would be enrollment periods...and the bottom line is she couldn't afford a wrap around plan which would still be required. Medicare for all is not free ...there is no free lunch in this matter.

“Passed along”, it was not covered by local governments and taxpayers; it was reflected in higher prices paid privately by other hospital customers. Further, it’s not just hospitals that provide life saving treatment; many people simply didn’t go to the doctor for treatment because they couldn’t afford it, and a treatable problem became fatal.

Its always someone else's problem until its your problem.......They wont see it coming until they go to a hospital and are told, your insurance is junk and told to go elsewhere.
