Speech difficulty is common in people with dementia, and is one of the first noticeable symptoms. A person with dementia forgets simple words or substitutes unusual words, making his speech choppy and hard to understand. Look how often Trump visibly struggles to find the right word and frequent has to resort to repetition (very, very big) and stock phrases (you can believe me), or he uses a completely unrelated word (furniture/future) or makes up a fake word (Tanzania/Tan Zania)
