I am accustomed to negotiating with people with whom I have very seriously disagreements. If I get the result my client and I want, I will negotiate with the Devil himself.

With Trump it is impossible to know but I think there might - just might - be an opportunity coming from Trump being down on the Repugnants. If the ACA can be saved from Trump's actions that will soon kill the market, I think it worth a shot. The worse that can happen is that no deal can be done and the Democrats can say they tried.

Lives are at stake. I think there has to at least be an attempt.
