Steve Bannon Says Trump Shouldn't Be Mocked And Ridiculed By Critics During Wartime
Bannon's website, Breitbart, ran stories about senators mocking Barack Obama during his presidency.
Amber Jamieson BuzzFeed News Reporter Posted on October 14, 2017, at 3:41 p.m.

Former White House chief strategist Steve Bannon slammed Republican Senator Bob Corker for his public sledging of the Trump White House as "an adult daycare center," declaring him a "real piece of work" in a speech at a conservative summit on Saturday.

"Bob Corker has trashed the Commander-in-chief of our Armed Forces, while we have young men and women in harm's way," said Bannon at the Values Voter summit, a highly conservative political convention in Washington, DC.

"Some US senator in a position of that authority, for the first time in the history of our Republic, has mocked and ridiculed a commander-in-chief, and we have kids in the field," he said.

Meghan McCain, daughter of Republican Sen. John McCain, tweeted "give me a break" after reading Bannon's comments.

Two different standards.

One for when they have the Presidency.

Liver test subject says "We" when talking about the armed forces.

By the way, what the fuck does he have to do with anything that pertains to how we should think about dumpf?.

Who made him an authority on the word respect?.

If he wasn't bankrolled by the mercers he'd be standing on a corner with a please help sign made out of stained cardboard.

What a laughingstock.

I just know that Trump has been trying to pick a fight so he can shut down criticism. It worked for GBII, didn't it? That's what North Korea and what Iran is all about. That's also why Republicans cried out, Wag the Dog! when Clinton tried to bring attention to the group that would later be called Al Qaeda. They didn't want him to use their strategy.

The question is, can we afford to put America through another red herring that will put our soldiers at risk?

He doesn't look good on camera, and when he starts talking, his obviously unhealthy anger, insane level of arrogance,"know it all" demeanor, and wildly unhinged beliefs (everyone should be punished for speaking badly about the fuhrer!!!! Anyone who contradicts the fuhrer must walk on their hands and knees back home while begging for His forgiveness eternally -- and that's just the beginning!!) are transparently unpleasant and not centrist or even palatable to most working class people if THEY ACTUALLY HAD TO LISTEN TO BANNON (with Trump's persona all of this was initially disguised somewhat). Bannon is also a Hollywood and Wall Street multi-millionaire. Funny.

Honestly I think this is why Bannon was rarely seen and almost never interviewed during the campaign and in the first few months of the "presidency." He comes across quite clearly as an asshole in interviews, and he wouldn't have helped Trump at all by doing interviews during the election. It was never remotely clear why he supposedly "cared" so much about (certain) working class people. A few times he mentioned his own childhood, but he hasn't been a member of the working class since childhood /teens. His anger is very transparently about something else entirely -- and the more he talks the more obvious this becomes. He also holds extremely childish grudges, and this is another trait that becomes very obvious and very unattractive the more he rants on and on.

Now I think his arrogance has gotten the better of him as he's not even pretending to worry about the working class anymore (what ARE you doing for them Steve? Donating your own millions perhaps? Surely this tax cut will save the rust belt? Cuts to Obamacare? Yeah, right) but is simply power-mad and a total slave to the Mercers.
