The Koch brothers (and their friends) want President Trumps tax cut. Very badly.

The Koch brothers (and their friends) want President Trump’s tax cut. Very badly.
By Annie Linskey GLOBE STAFF OCTOBER 14, 2017

NEW YORK — The message from the billionaire-led Koch network of donors to President Trump and the Republican Congress it helped to shape couldn’t be more clear: Pass a tax overhaul, or else.

As the donors mixed and mingled for a policy summit at the St. Regis hotel in midtown Manhattan last week, just a block south from Trump Tower, it came up again. And again. And again.

“It’s the most significant federal effort we’ve ever taken on,” said Tim Phillips, president of Americans for Prosperity, a Koch-aligned group with offices in 36 states. “The stakes for the Republicans, I’ve never seen them this high.”

These are complicated times for the Koch network, which was founded by billionaire brothers Charles and David Koch, who are the 11th and 12th richest people in the world with $47.6 billion apiece, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index.

1. They are worth $100 Billion, and they still want more. This is money addiction.

It is a sickness, and with this disorder there is never going to be enough money to fill the dark hole inside of them.

It doesn't matter to them that their money sickness leaves Americans unable to see a doctor when they are sick, or cannot afford to send their children to college, etc. The suffering of others means nothing to them. The feel entitled and deserving, it is their right to suck all the money out of the economy.

6. No amount of money will satisfy their addiction. Also it is a highly valued trait

in the US. We admire people with this illness.

I am not talking about the average person who works hard, and accrues decent savings and wealth. That is not necessarily addictive.

Instead I am talking about the 1% with huge fortunes that are not enough for them, they must have more and more, and they could care less about what this does to the rest of population.

that if folks can't see a doctor, their housekeepers, other servants, busboys, cooks, etc. can spread disease. To THEM.

They cannot see how their addiction might put them at risk. And they don't care if they get sick. They can buy the best health care in the world. Private rooms at the Mayo or Cleveland Clinic, flown there in their private jets. Or home care with round the clock private nurses and physicians.

They lie, bribe and threaten their way into the US Treasury.

And convince the rest of us that this is a good thing, the emptying of the piggy bank.

Then they wait until a Dem president and congress fill up the piggy bank again so they can steal it the next time around when the GOP is in power.

means no, we will not learn anything. And even if we did, does not appear we
have a working representative democracy due to gerrymandering, voter suppression and out right fraud and hacking.

when they're worth 46 billion each. For that matter, if they want to control stuff so bad you'd think they wouldn't be so cheap about it especially since Citizens United basically allows them to buy votes, etc.
